Luck help them as usual. I mean they are a great team since you can not win without good players but they are overrated. UEFA match schedule doesnt help some teams when they give everything in one game and they are too tired to play the next, in this case, italy who can win any time against spain except when they are so tired and with many injuries on their line. Italian team was the less fitted team in the EURO and they manage to tied against spain first game and reach the final. However fitness caught up with them and it was sown under the first time. It was like watching grand parents playing against their sons. As for the world cup 2010 the only reason spain reach the final and won was because of referees mistake through out the cup that help them. Indeed they have the talent but still spain, the same team that could loose to USA anytime like they did in the confederation cup 2009 after they won 2008 EURO cup. Spain didnt win 3 consecutive event since the lost to USA in 2009 and confederation cup is considered a major event since all champion from EUROPE, WORLD CUP, the AMERICAS, and ASIA play this CUP.

yep, the greatest comeback in histroy, i loved that depor side for 1999-2004, they were imo one of the best team ive ever seen, and it all could still be going on now had it not been for 2 refeering decisions against porto, in the first leg andrade should NOT have been sent off and in the second leg porto penalty was NOT even a penalty, if depor had won the cl that year they would have still been around 2day, as im 100% sure they would have beaten monaco in the final.. long live super depor

Bellamy…you are joking…he couldn’t even make Liverpool’s squad and he
has been with more team’s than I have had hot dinners and has always
been controversial and generally an example of all that is bad in
English football.

Couldn’t even make the squad at West Ham United in the
lower division league.

He is not in the same class as Beckham and never will be. I always
enjoyed watching Peirce as a footballer but this is is a terrible
decision.

Look for an early exit for the GB team.

The picture of a blood-stained Terry Butcher is outdated - England must move into the 21st century like the rest of the world.

Technique, comfortability on the ball, small-sided games and an emphasis on turning children into good footballers is a must. More can be said but Paul, you nailed much of it.
